-Bishop Pine Forests
*fire dependent
*facicle bundle with 2 needle
*smaller cones
*these forests are about the same age
-Gophers
*territorial, one gopher has a complex big network of tunnels
*has upper and lower incisors
*external cheek pouches
*hole plugs (earth pushed up)
*mates with female gophers at edges of territory
-Moles
*has vibrissae on face to feel for vibrations of prey
*never leave holes except to gathering nesting material
*swims through earth looking for worms

-potatoe bug *isopod
-ground cricket *spines on legs *nocternal
-worm salamandor *amphibian *uses diffusion in order to breath. has no lungs because of its size. has grooves to aid diff. *newts don't have grooves.
Amphibians take in H20 via: buccles suctions which circulates air through lung sacs. through skin. and also they're lung (thought not very good)

-Witches butter *gooey, oozey yellow puss
